What you will be doing
MBO’s international services are growing rapidly and constantly evolving to meet the needs of our clients and talent.  You will be at the forefront of this exciting development and will work closely with key MBO leaders to shape and deliver these services.  You will be asked to contribute to all aspects of the international talent engagement lifecycle to support MBO’s growth and vision.
The primary responsibilities of the Sr. Associate, International Services include, but are not limited to, the development and documentation of processes specific to international engagements; the creation and maintenance of comprehensive country playbooks; partnering with the client and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve international issues; creating international training modules and client presentations; and supporting international operations during times of high volumes. , You will have an integral role in developing international sales and talent collateral; creating robust international pricing models; nurturing deep relationships with MBO’s partners abroad, maintaining financial metrics,  and sharing your knowledge across the MBO organization.   
In this role you will
  • Operate as the international subject matter specialist to deliver international guidance for talent referrals, enrollments, and sales opportunities across multiple clients with varying needs, policies and processes
  • Create and maintain country playbooks outlining any and all unique aspects arising during the full engagement lifecycle for talent traveling to and/or working in any given country outside the US
  • Work with MBO’s international partners to create technically correct, streamlined, scalable pricing proposals, and use this information to create automated pricing calculators for all MBO’s international engagement services
  • Create and provide training vignettes to various teams at MBO
  • Track international statistics including profitability, talent, and countries to document MBO’s international growth and help determine priorities for future growth, and new offerings
  • Create and maintain knowledge management tools from real-time international scenarios
  • Assist in identifying and implementing repeatable international process improvements
  • Develop and maintain deep and trusting relationships at all levels within and outside of the organization
What you need to stand out
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field is required  
  • 3-5 years of operational or consulting experience with a multinational or consulting company,
  • Experience with international business travel or cross-border business risk management and knowledge of the independent workforce preferred
  • Ability to quickly comprehend new concepts using critical thinking skills and exercising sound judgment when evaluating multiple options and scenarios
  • Easily adapt to changing initiatives and thrives in operating in a world of gray where concepts and situations are ambiguous and different interpretations can apply
  •  Should be a self-motivated, resourceful team player with strong interpersonal skills and confidence 
  • Excellent time management, organization, comprehension, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Professional client service mindset with the ability to work under pressure and meet multiple competing deadlines
