Pencco, Inc is currently hiring a full time Field Technician. Must live within 45 minutes of Plano.

An eligible candidate will be at least 21 years of age and live within the service area. The following is a list of basic minimum job functions that all Field Technicians must be able to perform. Once training and qualifications are met, all Field Technicians are required to be on call and must be available to work Overtime hours as needed.

Job functions for this position may include, but are not limited to the following:

• Basic Electric
• Basic Plumbing
• System maintenance/repair
• Meter reads
• Meter Installation/repair
• Site visits
• Building and Installation
• On-Call Duty required/Overtime when needed
• Previous Electrical Experience is a plus.
• Previous Telecom Experience is a plus

Requirements:

Education Requirements:

·High School Diploma or G.E.D

Experience not required, but preferred Skills and Abilities Required:

• Must be PC and mobile device literate.
• Must be able to apply company and industry safety and regulatory standards.
• Must be self-motivated, independent and pay attention to detail.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to adapt to prevailing weather conditions, extreme cold – extreme heat.
• Must be able to Sit, Stand, Kneel, Walk for long durations of time.
• Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a minimal amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, and pull.
• Must be willing to travel out of state.
• Works in potentially hazardous conditions

Other Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or over.
• Must maintain valid Texas Driver’s license.
• Candidates must be able to meet all pre-employment background checks, drug screening and physical requirements as determined necessary by the company.
