Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of a community-wide approach to chemical incident emergency response, working with other emergency management officials to understand current capability and unique chemical threats to a community, and develop scenario-based response training and exercises.
  • Support emergency response planning that can be utilized by communities throughout the country in agile decision making and response capabilities during a chemical incident, to include the identification of those critical decision points, information flows, and decision making defined by position and affiliation during a response to a chemical incident.
  • Develop and execute a Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) compliant capstone exercises and generate resulting reports, after action reviews, and recommendations.
  • Oversee and manage work performed by all support personnel on the contract, serve as the single point of contact for the government, and coordinate with corporate leadership to ensure effective execution of the contract.


Required Skills and Education:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • 10 years’ experience managing complex projects incorporating multiple virtual teams across multiple locations throughout the country.
  • 10 years’ experience working in or with State, Local, Tribal, or Territorial (SLTT) responder agencies (e.g., fire/hazmat, EMS, LE, health care, public health, or Emergency Management) including 5 years’ experience working with response organizations (federal or state) to identify threats, assess capabilities, analyze capability gaps, recommend solutions.
  • 5 years’ experience applying HSEEP principles or managing an HSEEP exercise program.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust
