The Staff Pad has partnered with a community health center outside of Tucson, Arizona. We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our clients organization that has been recognized as a "National Quality Leader" by the US Department of Health and Human Services.

Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate excellent patient relations skills, e.g.
- Assist dentist and other assistants.
- Oral hygiene instruction for group and individual.
- Perform as receptionist. Operate telephone and three different computer software systems.
- Regularly ensures adherence to OSHA blood borne pathogen rule of infection control and maintenance of clinic equipment.
- Assist with inventory control & laboratory services tracking.
- Perform accounting/bookkeeping activities, process payments for services, closing books and compile data for the daily, monthly and annual reports.
- Prepare, process and mount intra oral and panoramic radiographs.
- Keep informed on advancements in dentistry and dental public health –through demonstration of performance as a chairside dental assistant and attendance at continuing education courses.
Requirements
- Experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, but not required.
- Experience in a Medical environment is required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bilingual, English/Spanish preferred, but not required.
