Job Summary:

The Logistics & Operations Coordinator is a cross-trained role, being trained in Logistics and Content. Responsibilities can range from the accurate and timely input of all itinerary content of the tour series into the operational systems including data points from multiple sources with input into a variety of systems, to the coordination of all ground transportation, domestic and/or international, for assigned area.

Primary Functions:

  • Input all tour itinerary versions into operational systems for all given tour series in an accurate and timely manner; proofs work output through reporting; updates operational systems.
  • Builds strong vendor relationships through regular interaction and communication pertaining to the provision of transportation services.
  • Organize transportation service components to include service requests, cancellations, and vendor confirmation.
  • Contributes to completion of monthly team goals as they align with key performance indicators.
  • Completes various other duties and projects as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • One to three years’ experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; experience may be substituted for education.
  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment; must be able to multi-task efficiently and accurately.
  • Possess a proactive, positive and professional approach and demeanor to their work with the ability to work well under pressure; Collaborates well with others and fosters a cooperative work environment.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekend, night and holiday coverage to meet business need.
  • Ability to effectively create and communicate through all means of communication to all stakeholders.
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Demonstrates skill in customer service.
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft applications.

Starting Hourly Rate: $19.00 / hour
