Assistant General Manager

Red Stag Fulfillment is a high-growth, client-centric ecommerce fulfillment company on a mission to redefine the 3PL experience for clients and employees alike.

This year, we opened a brand new 700,000 square foot fulfillment center in Sweetwater, TN, and we’re looking for an operations-minded servant leader to help manage the facility as the Assistant General Manager (“AGM”).

The AGM’s core mission will be to assist the General Manager in leading day-to-day operations at our Sweetwater site.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Foster a culture of high performance and development that supports and embodies our core values.
• Serve the Herd with integrity, professionalism, and empathy, so the Herd can serve our clients with excellence.
• Assist the GM in owning full responsibility of the facility, spanning multiple functional areas like fulfillment operations, HR, finance, and client success.
• Acquire, retain, engage, and develop top-tier talent.
• Support GM’s pursuit of excellence across all warehouse operations including the outbound, inbound, inventory, kitting, and LTL departments.
• Maintain an unbending commitment to safety.
• Develop unmatched knowledge of our systems and processes, so you can troubleshoot daily issues and challenges.
• Drive operational excellence, continuous improvement, and waste elimination in labor productivity, facility layout, equipment utilization, route efficiency, error reduction, and inventory utilization.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining KPIs for each department and ensuring accountability for performance standards.

Other Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree or 10 years’ experience in a logistics, manufacturing, or warehouse operational leadership role or with commensurate experience at Red Stag.
• Working knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Excel skills, plus an ability to make data-based decisions and execute KPI-focused leadership standards.
• Strong understanding of the concept of Standard Work.
• Must be able to work on the warehouse floor when needed including continuous time moving, regular transportation of freight up to 50 pounds (with team lifting heavier items), reaching, bending, carrying, etc.
• Must be able to work in an environment where the temperature matches that of the outside temperature.
• Preference for prior ecommerce experience

Pay Range:  $80,000 - $120,000 (based on fit), plus eligibility for performance-based bonus

FLSA Exemption Status: Exempt (Salaried)

Travel Requirement: 10%-25%

Remote Work: At the discretion of the General Manager.
