Driller - Sonic Drill Rigs

Summary – Sonic Driller: We are currently seeking geotechnical Drillers with experience operating sonic drill rigs. We would prefer candidates who are open to long-term employment but are willing to consider candidates who are open to working on contract, if preferred. We are also willing to consider experienced candidates who are open to relocating. Prefer candidates currently residing near the following areas.

• Kansas City, MO
• Erlanger, KY
• Memphis, TN
• Wichita, KS

Responsibility Summary – Sonic Driller:

• Performs sonic and rotary drilling, sampling, and well installation operations.
• Collect sonic drilling and well installation data.
• Prepares written daily field reports on sonic drilling activities.
• Directs and assists sonic drill crew with completion of assigned sonic drilling projects.
• Ensure the safety of yourself and your team.
• Performs routine maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
• Prepare sonic drilling equipment and procure supplies for future projects.
• Support efforts to ensure sonic drilling projects are completed on time and within budget.

Qualification Summary – Sonic Driller:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of experience as a Lead Driller; minimum of 2 years of experience operating sonic drill rigs
• Must have Class A CDL license to transport sonic drill rigs to and from projects
• OSHA 10-Hour and 40-Hour HAZWOPER certifications preferred, but not required
• Driller's license for well drilling when required by state law; willing to help obtain as needed
• Ability to travel extensively
