Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to craft compelling multimedia content, leveraging your skills in video recording and editing, photography, and visual presentation design.
- Monitor and maintain the functionality of digital displays, such as the HERO screen and Comstock's other public video displays, ensuring seamless operation of hardware, content, and programming.
- Shadow experienced team members during marketing meetings, gaining insight into digital media strategies and practices.
- Provide hands-on assistance with planning, designing, implementing, and troubleshooting digital media aspects of the Reston Row District project and associated hardware.
- Create comprehensive documentation including setup procedures, troubleshooting guides, and best practices for future reference, ensuring efficient knowledge transfer within the team.
- Coordinate with external AV vendors or rental companies as necessary for larger events or specialized equipment requirements, ensuring smooth communication and timely setup.
- Offer support during major weekend Summerbration events throughout the summer, assisting with digital media setup and operation if required.
- Assist in setting up audiovisual equipment for marketing events and conferences, contributing your expertise in digital media to enhance the overall presentation.
Qualifications
- Rising Junior, Senior or 2024 Graduate
- Degree in Digital Media, IT, Web Design, Photography or in a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work weekends occasionally.
- Prior industry internship/work experience and an interest in Real Estate is a plus
- Proficient in the Adobe Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Lightroom) and Microsoft Office.
- Experience in DMX Protocol, LED lighting, cabling and network management is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
- Ability to be adaptable and flexible in a fast paced environment
- Desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment and learn in a growing organization.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks with a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-directed and able to work independently, with minimal supervision
