We are passionate about empowering individuals to exercise their right to vote and make their voices heard. As a Voter Registrar, you will play a pivotal role in our mission.

 

Job Description:

We are seeking dedicated and civic-minded individuals to join our team as Voter Registrars. As a Voter Registrar, you will be responsible for facilitating the voter registration process, ensuring that eligible individuals can exercise their right to vote. This position is integral to our mission of promoting civic engagement and democratic participation.

 

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct voter registration drives at various community events, public spaces, and online platforms.

2. Educate individuals on the voter registration process, eligibility requirements, and relevant deadlines.

3. Distribute and collect voter registration forms, ensuring that all required information is complete and accurate.

4. Assist individuals with completing voter registration forms and provide guidance as needed.

5. Verify the eligibility of individuals based on state and local voting regulations.

6. Maintain organized records of voter registration activities, including the number of registrations collected and any issues encountered.

7. Collaborate with community organizations, schools, and other stakeholders to promote voter registration initiatives.

8. Stay informed about changes in voter registration laws and requirements to provide accurate and up-to-date information to the public.

 

Qualifications:

1. Strong commitment to promoting civic engagement and democratic participation.

2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

3. Knowledge of voter registration laws and requirements in the relevant jurisdiction(s).

4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

5. Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.

6. Comfortable using technology and voter registration software.

7. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

8. Previous experience in voter registration, community organizing, or related fields is a plus.

 

Compensation:

$22 per hour
