Responsibilities:

  • Obtain customer and vehicle data prior to arrival for appointment, for seamless customer experience.
  • Welcome customers in a friendly and timely manner.
  • Accurately and clearly document customers’ vehicle problems on repair orders.
  • Conduct test drives with customers or refer them to our experienced technicians for thorough problem diagnosis.
  • Utilize service history and inspect vehicles to recommend additional necessary services.
  • Educate customers on proper car care and emphasize the value of maintaining their vehicles as per manufacturers’ specifications.
  • Provide detailed written cost estimates for both labor and parts.
  • Establish “promised time” for repairs and coordinate with the dispatcher when required.
  • Obtain the customer’s signature on repair orders and provide them with a copy.
  • Determine the customer’s preferred methods of payment, including obtaining credit approval if necessary.
  • Regularly check the progress of repairs and promptly communicate any changes in estimates or promised time to customers, securing proper authorization for additional repairs.
  • Review repair orders to ensure completion of work and accurate documentation of any additional repairs and authorization.
  • Clearly explain completed work and charges to customers.
  • Implement quality control measures to minimize the need for follow-up repairs.
  • Uphold high customer satisfaction standards.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documenting vehicle problems and estimates.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage service appointments and prioritize tasks effectively.

Pay Range: This is a commission-based position with a potential to earn up to $120,000
