Medical Laboratory Technician

Madison Regional Health System is seeking a full-time Medical Laboratory Technician or Technologist to be a part of the Madison Regional Health System mission: Committed to providing quality healthcare, close to home.

Our Medical Laboratory Technician or Technologist is an essential part of our Laboratory team and is responsible for collecting and analyzing specimens. Excellent customer service, attention to detail, computer knowledge, and the ability to multi-task in pressure/stressful situations are essential.

The working conditions will be in a clean, well-lighted area with potential exposure to infectious diseases and body fluids. Sitting, and standing majority of the shift with frequent repetitive motion of the hands/wrists involved. The MLT works Monday through Friday, with rotation of weekends, holidays, and call. Must be a graduate of an accredited school, associates or bachelors and nationally certified with MLS (ASCP).
