Position Summary:

New Warehouse, Bagging Warehouse, Pet/Milk/Mineral Warehouse, Rework Warehouse, Ingredient Warehouse.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for loading and unloading trucks, make sure that trucks are loaded with the right bag product.
  • Scheduling and coordinate bag product day-to-day, have product ready for the next working day.
  • Organize all paperwork; receiving, returned product and plant shipping reports.
  • Able to communicate with customers, supervisor, managers, and personnel from warehouse, mill, office, fleet dispatch, drivers, and maintenance.
  • Helpful to customers and employees; always focused and take care of all customer’s needs, help truck drivers when loading products.
  • Propane bottles should ALWAYS be always in cage; full or empty.
  • Maintain Warehouses clean and organized as much as possible; good housekeeping is always a safety condition.
  • Complete weekly and monthly inventory.
  • Operate Forklift.
    • Forklift operators must review the checklist on the forklift, daily. Check each item before start of each shift and report any needed repairs.
  • New Warehouse:
    • Accountable for correct, effective and safe operation of Automatic Palletizer; bags should be properly stacked on the pallet, keep Automatic Palletizer as clean as possible, and inspect all reflectors.
    • PSR, Plant Shipping Reports, should be turned in before 4:30 pm daily.
  • Ingredient Warehouse
    • Deliver product to the mill and warehouse as needed. Take care of customers and truck drivers. Maintain communication with the mill, warehouse, and office personnel. WORK SAFE.
    • Ensure that scale tickets are received and signed off.
    • PSR, Plant Shipping Reports, should be turned in before 4:30 pm daily.
  • Pet, Milk, and Mineral Warehouse:
    • Ensuring that pet food and milk replacement bags are separated, mineral bags on the racks. Keep warehouse clean.
  • Bagging Warehouse
    • Make sure that bags are well sewn, proper labeled and coded; communicate with mill personnel for empty bins, or other production needs.

Other Duties:

Any other duties as requested/assigned by production manager and supervisor.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required.

Experience:

  • Forklift or Bobcat experience.
  • Agriculture knowledge preferred.

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • On the job training provided as well as off site as available.

Skills:

  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds repetitively.
  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs.

This position does require a pre-hire, post-offer criminal background check, and a drug screen.
