Job Description

This position provides essential assistance for the referral and placement work of the HS/PRS team. This position is responsible for managing the creation of HS/PRS referral and client case data with a high level of accuracy. This position is also responsible for reviewing data, running reports, ensuring the accuracy of data, and responding to stakeholders regarding referral and placement information. This position will also assist with data collection, data reporting, and data quality assurance as needed.

Contributes to the Bishops’ strategic plan for the Conference. Demonstrates willingness and ability to understand, respect and contribute to the USCCB mission and to fulfill job duties in accordance with its Catholic identity.

Key Responsibilities:

•Refer HS/PRS cases to the subrecipient network, as needed when covering for SPRC

•Accept new cases/referrals from the ORR Database

•Assist with uploading of case closure reports, and other reports, in the ORR database, as needed

•Assist with reporting of weekly capacity numbers to ORR

•Create e-file in USCCB SharePoint of new cases accepted

•Create child case record in USCCB database

•Assist with verification of cases in USCCB database, as needed when covering for SPRC

•Assist with release notifications of cases, as needed when covering for SPRC

Data Management

Coordinate all data processing and data entry tasks, including:

•Provide back-up coverage for the Senior Placement & Referral Coordinator (as needed)

Technical Assistance (TA) and Communication:

•Respond to referral requests from HS/PRS programs and email referral documents requested to the programs

General Responsibilities

•Participate in weekly HS/PRS team, and case staffing meetings as required; pull referral and placement data for meetings.

•Remain knowledgeable of all federal government and USCCB/MRS guidelines, policies and procedures related to HS/PRS.

•Participate on MRS teams/workgroups as required.

•Other duties as assigned.

Level: Undergraduate degree required or commensurate experience

Major Field/Specialty:Social work, Social Services, Data analysis, Evaluation and planning, Outcomes management, Quality assurance in business systems, or a related field preferred

Number of Years Required:1-3 years
