Salary:

The Sales Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the sales team. This includes accurately entering and updating sales data and organizing and responding to customer and vendor inquiries. As part of this, they are responsible for gathering information for quotes, like vendor prices and availability and communicating with vendors and customers. The Sales Administrative Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient and effective sales operations by maintaining accurate records, facilitating communication between sales representatives and customers, and contributing to the overall success of the sales team.


The successful candidate is eager to explore a career as a Sales Account Manager.


Option for part-time work may be available upon discussion.


Key Responsibilities include:

  • Accurately entering and updating sales data into internal database.
  • Verifying the accuracy and integrity of sales data and correcting any errors or inconsistencies.
  • Maintaining sales records, including customer information, sales orders, purchase orders, and sales dashboards.
  • Organizing and categorizing sales data to ensure easy retrieval and analysis.
  • Generating reports and summaries of sales data for analysis and decision-making purposes.
  • Collaborating with the sales team and other departments to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of data entry processes and guidelines.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance data entry efficiency and accuracy.
  • Protecting the confidentiality and security of sales data.
  • Responding to customer and vendor inquiries and providing timely and accurate information or assistance.
  • Facilitating communication between Account Managers and customers/vendors, ensuring smooth and efficient information exchange.
  • Monitoring and tracking sales targets, reporting progress, and assisting in achieving sales goals.
  • Collaborating with other departments, such as contracts and warehouse, to ensure seamless sales operations.
  • Providing general administrative support to the sales team.

  • Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations and standard commercial procurement practices, a plus.
