RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs daily activities in accordance with applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs) to support key annual performance metrics for operations

  • Inspects semi-finished grafts accurately and efficiently to meet quality guidelines prior to final packaging

  • Maintains and operates labeling printing equipment in a safe and efficient manner

  • Maintains a clean and organized workstation and identifies safety hazards and opportunities for improvement

  • Follows regulatory packaging and labeling requirements for finished goods grafts with a high attention to detail

  • Inspects, assembles, organizes, and packages consumable supplies used in the packaging of completed human tissue allografts

  • Executes requirements to properly dispose hazardous and non-hazardous waste

  • Works safely in appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and applies tissue handling techniques in a controlled environment performing individual tasks and contributing to a team effort

  • Accurately completes paperwork and performs data entry in accordance with Good Documentation Practices

  • Participates in continuous improvement activities in team meetings and other formal and informal settings

  • May prepare irradiation shipments by quickly and accurately packaging, labeling, and organizing finished and unfinished grafts into appropriate configurations

REQUIREMENTS
Education

High School Diploma or equivalent


Experience

0-2 years of experience in packaging or labeling


Skills

  • Data Entry
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Packaging

Physical Requirement:

Move or lift heavy objects (26-50 pounds)

Constant stationary position (standing or sitting)

Frequent (>75%) fine manipulation using hands and fingers (pinching, touching, pulling, wrapping)

Working Environment

Constant wearing of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Rigidly controlled and sterile environment; possible work near biomedical and chemical hazards
