RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs daily activities in accordance with applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs) to support key annual performance metrics for operations
Inspects semi-finished grafts accurately and efficiently to meet quality guidelines prior to final packaging
Maintains and operates labeling printing equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Maintains a clean and organized workstation and identifies safety hazards and opportunities for improvement
Follows regulatory packaging and labeling requirements for finished goods grafts with a high attention to detail
Inspects, assembles, organizes, and packages consumable supplies used in the packaging of completed human tissue allografts
Executes requirements to properly dispose hazardous and non-hazardous waste
Works safely in appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and applies tissue handling techniques in a controlled environment performing individual tasks and contributing to a team effort
Accurately completes paperwork and performs data entry in accordance with Good Documentation Practices
Participates in continuous improvement activities in team meetings and other formal and informal settings
May prepare irradiation shipments by quickly and accurately packaging, labeling, and organizing finished and unfinished grafts into appropriate configurations
Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience
0-2 years of experience in packaging or labeling
Skills
- Data Entry
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Packaging
Physical Requirement:
Move or lift heavy objects (26-50 pounds)
Constant stationary position (standing or sitting)
Frequent (>75%) fine manipulation using hands and fingers (pinching, touching, pulling, wrapping)
Working Environment
Constant wearing of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Rigidly controlled and sterile environment; possible work near biomedical and chemical hazards
