Sales Porter

Job Summary:

The Sales Porter at McSweeney Chevrolet GMC/ CDJR in Clanton, Alabama is responsible for assisting the sales team in maintaining a clean and organized sales lot, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting the overall sales operations.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain a clean and organized sales lot by moving and organizing as needed

- Assist customers and sales team by bringing vehicles to and from the service department, ensuring they are fueled and ready for test drives
- Keep track of inventory and report any damages, issues, or concerns to management
- Sweep, vacuum, and wash dealership floors, windows, and doors as needed
- Assist with lot and showroom displays and inventory placement
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist with any inquiries or concerns
- Execute tasks assigned by sales managers and other team members
- Follow all safety and company policies and procedures

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in the automotive industry is preferred
- Ability to operate a manual and automatic transmission vehicle
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team player
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
