The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, extensive knowledge of accounting principles, and successful history in financial oversight. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial activities, including preparing financial statements, conducting month-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with other departments to achieve organizational goals

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial activities, including preparing financial statements, conducting month-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. What you will do…
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data in accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including reviewing invoices, processing payments, and reconciling accounts.
- Monitor cash flow and banking activities, including bank reconciliations and cash forecasting.
- Maintain general ledger accounts and perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Assist with preparation and filing regulatory reports and tax returns in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of accounting operations.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations, ensuring compliance and best practices.
What you will bring…
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred but not required.
- Minimum 4 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Thorough understanding of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues at all levels.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
- High level of integrity and ethical standards.

- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with QuickBooks Desktop is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including expertise in formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS) and pivot tables.
