Job Summary: An Parts Counter Specialist has excellent attention to detail and is responsible for managing inventory. They ensure that parts or supplies needed for production are available for team members. To be successful this position requires the individual be highly organized and be able to assist in providing the appropriate parts and supplies to meet the needs of the Service Department.

Parts Counter Specialist Responsibilities:
- Forecast goals and objectives for the parts department
- Maintain inventory consistent with the requirements of the various departments
- Create pricing guidelines for customer categories
- Monitor and adjusts inventory
- Guarantee all parts are properly tagged
- Complete stock order processes
- Work closely with service manager and to ensure timely turnaround of parts needed
- Provides technical assistance when necessary
- Develop and enforce guidelines for working with customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction
- Enforce safety requirements
Parts Counter Specialist Requirements:
- At least 2 years experience in parts
- Technical automotive knowledge
- Management experience and skills
- Computer literacy
- Good communication skills
- Basic understanding of inventory and reporting
- CDK DMS and X-Time Knowledge
