Wood Health Company, a subsidiary of Wood County Hospital, is accepting applications for a float Medical Office Receptionist. The Medical Office Receptionist is responsible for greeting and registering patients, answering telephones, entry of patient demographic and insurance information, organizing charts, filing, and routine correspondence.

 

Job Duties:

  • Greets patients and visitors and makes them feel welcome.
  • Answers multi-line phone system.
  • Verifies and enters patient demographics and copies/scans insurance cards.
  • Maintains an adequate supply of progress notes, medication logs, new patient registration sheets, release of medical record sheets, and all other forms contained within the medical record.

 

Shift Details:

Hours:

  • Full Time, 40 hours/week
  • 8am to 5pm

Shift:

  • Day Shift

Office:

  • Float position covering offices in Bowling Green, North Baltimore, and Deshler. 

 

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum Education:            

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Preferred Certification/License:

  • Certified or Registered Medical Assistant preferred

Preferred Experience:          

  • Prior medical office experience preferred
