Sales Manager

The Cole Automotive Group in Ashland, KY is seeking an experienced Used Car Sales Manager to join our team. The applicant must be a self motivated professional with proven ability to deliver customer satisfaction and meet sales objectives.   • Strong interpersonal and communications skills one-on-one and over the phone
  • Persuasive and able to overcome customer objections during the sales process
  • Proficient in basic business math including percentages
  • Capable of learning and using basic Microsoft Office, accounting software, and proprietary sales programs
  • Persistent, competitive and good work ethic
  • Focuses on the customer’s needs to enhance dealership and personal sales

Responsibilities

  • Lead your team to meet all sales objectives
  • Coach each sales professional to excel in their position
  • Guide customer as they appear on the lot to proceed into the sales process
  • Assist the customers to find a vehicle that meets their needs by using the current inventory sheets
  • Assist customers in the completion of their sales applications
  • Assist management to increase sales by inspecting the lot’s vehicles, reporting any problems to the General Manager
  • Assist in ensuring the lot is merchandised correctly to maximize sales
  • Maintain Customer Satisfaction scores at or above company and manufacturer standards
  • Suggests optional equipment for customer to purchase
  • Communicates sales price, including tax, trade-in allowance and discount
  • Completes necessary Dealership and Manufacturer paperwork accompanying vehicle sales
  • Researches availability of models and options equipment
  • Engages in business development
  • Addresses customer concerns
  • Follows Dealership and Manufacturer rules and regulations
