Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Position Overview:

• Very busy Family Practice Office, looking for LPNs for telephone triage and working with providers when needed. 
• The job consists of helping where ever is needed
• Prior Authorizations, filling out medical forms, gaps in care etc.
• Experience with MEDENT and prior office experience a plus
• Job duties will include working with a provider/direct patient care. eg. vaccines, ekg's, pulse ox A1C, spirometry
• Must be able to multi-task, be on time, flexible, reliable, compassionate, hard working, energetic and must get along with others

Qualifications:

• Training and work experience in primary care setting preferred
• Registration in the State Nurse Registry (LPN) is required. Active on the State Nursing Registry with no findings or convictions of patient abuse, mistreatment or misappropriation of property
• Ability to supervise and work well with other personnel
• Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing
• Caring and respectful attitude towards patients
• Physical stamina for constant activity required
• Ability to perform tasks to established standards of excellence required
• MUST HAVE NYS NURINGS LICENSE
