TITLE: Pharmacy Tech / CphT / ExCPT

\nWhat they are looking for:
\n• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Ohio.
\n• Pharmacy Technician Certification from PTCB(CphT) or NHA(ExCPT)
\n 
\nHours and compensation potential:
\n• Position is full time. Person could work 1 week 4-10hr days starting at 8am or 9am and working main pharmacy. 1 week would could be 3-12hr shifts and handling Med Rec.  Weekends are one a month from 9am-7:30pm.
\n•  Range is between $37500-$50,000 depending on experience and a full benefit package.
\nWhat you will be doing:
\n•Assists the pharmacists in providing medications to patients and patient care areas in a safe, efficient and timely manner.  
\n•Assists in all aspects of drug preparation and distribution, 
\n•Understands the needs of a patient population that includes neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.  
\n•Monitors and maintains the clerical duties within the department.  
\n•Prepares intravenous admixtures, unit dose formulations and compounded medications using aseptic technique. 
\n•Obtains medication histories and patient allergies from relevant sources for new patients coming through the Emergency Department and processes this information in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).  
\n•Directly communicates to pharmacist about patients with complex/high-risk medications.  
\n•Enters charges and credits on patient accounts.  
\n•Orders, receives and stocks the pharmacy medications in a timely and accurate manner.  
\n•Adheres to organizational policies and procedures; regulatory/accrediting body requirements; and professional practice standards.
