Company DescriptionHealthCare Support is actively seeking a Medical Assistant to fill an opening in The Villages, FL!
Daily Responsibilities for Medical Assistant:
- Will be taking temperature, oximetry readings/normal blood oxygen saturation level, vitals, weight, drawing blood, performing blood pressure checks, and rooming patients
- Responsible for phlebotomy, laboratory testing, quality control, instrument troubleshooting, and maintenance
- Shift: Monday – Friday; 8:00am to 5:00pm
Required Qualifications for Medical Assistant:
- Must have a High School Diploma and/or GED
- 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant in a busy medical office (40+ patients daily)
- Experience with taking temperature, oximetry readings/normal blood oxygen saturation level, vitals, weight, performing blood pressure checks, and rooming patients
- Experience with an EMR system and computer software - Must be able to multi-tasks through multiple systems
- Must have experience with Phlebotomy – Will be doing about 20-30 sticks per day in this office
