Location Near:Worden, MI

Job Type: Contracted position for the 2023-2024 school year
Position Details:
- Contract Duration: ASAP - June 14, 2024
- Hours: Full-time
- Caseload: High school, Elementary CI (prehensive Independence) room
- Students: 7 students, with 2 paraprofessionals available for assistance in the classroom
Responsibilities:
As a Special Education Teacher, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Adapting curriculum materials and teaching strategies to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Collaborating with other educators, specialists, and parents to address students' educational goals.
- Providing support and guidance to paraprofessionals in the classroom.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelors degree in special education or a Masters/Doctoral Degree in Special Education or Teaching Students with Special Needs
- Licensure: Active Special Education State Teaching License
