The role you’ll contribute:

Coordinates shift staffing, facilitates patient flow, serves as resource person and hospital management representative for the assigned shift; and facilitates the delivery of patient services from all hospital departments during the evening and night shifts.

· Demonstrates “Caring Behaviors” to patients, families, and colleagues.

· Initiates corrective action for immediate staff performance problems and notifies Director and Nurse Leader of actions taken or need for further assessment and follow up.

· Communicates to Administrator-On-Call, for consultative problem solving in time frame appropriate for situation.

· Provides communication regarding patient complaints and risk situations to leadership for day-to-day concerns that require notification.

· Demonstrating a supportive learning attitude.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

· Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing.

· Minimum of 5 years’ experience with one year in a supervisory capacity in Acute Care

· Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Florida or licensure from another state with verification of application and eligibility for Florida licensure by endorsement.

· ACLS, BLS, PALS

· NIHSS from Know Stroke (NIHSS from American Heart Association will be accepted upon hire, subsequent renewals must be completed through Know Stroke)
