General Manager 2 - Food & Nutrition Services

Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 2 - Food at Lehigh Valley Hospital- Hecktown Oaks located in Easton, PA. LVH–Hecktown Oaks is a full-service healthcare facility made up of three buildings: the 201,000 square-foot hospital, 35,000 square-foot cancer center and our 61,000 square-foot health center. 

 

The General Manager 2 will be responsible for department financials and all daily operations of patient services, retail cafe, culinary, and catering. This position will support a team of Managers on site at each account and Sodexo frontline associates.

• have oversight of day-to-day operations 
• deliver high quality food service 
• achieve company and client financial targets and goals 
• develop and maintain client and customer relationships 

• develop strategic plans

The ideal candidate: 

• Has a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively. 

• Has culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance. 
• Can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service. 
• Can demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and 
• Proficient in computer skills and report management experience.

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years
