Job Description
Position Title : General Maintenance (2nd Shift - Standard Hrs. 1:00PM - 11:00PM)
Reports to : Maintenance Supervisor
Supervisory Responsibilities : None
Statement of General Responsibilities
- This position is responsible for adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and
Corporate/company policies.
- Obtain and correctly use required safety and personal protective equipment. Comply with and enforce approved safety rules and procedures, and report to supervisor defective safety equipment or unsafe conditions or practices. Report all injuries occurring while at company. Attend all scheduled safety training sessions.
- Comply with and enforce approved quality procedures, work instructions and other approved documentation such as drawings and quality records. Complete all required quality tests and inspections as assigned. Complete fully, accurately, and submit on time required records and documents to supervision or QA. Reject any identified nonconforming product, and notify supervision and/or QA that product/material has been rejected. Attend all scheduled quality training sessions.
- Comply with and enforce the appropriate environmental procedures and practices. Comply with pertinent company environmental permit discharge limits including notifying QA supervision prior to draining any pit, tank, or container to the sewer or to the ground on company property, or releasing any chemical to the atmosphere. Employee is responsible for reading and understanding appropriate MSDS documents for chemicals used or stored in their work area. Attend all scheduled environmental training sessions.
- Primary Responsibilities
- Must be able to meet or exceed entry level mechanic.
- Must have working knowledge of machine stock with lathe and milling machine and safety precautions related to their operation that includes tooling and die maintenance applications.
- Must have working knowledge of metal fabrication shop equipment and safety precautions related to their operation.
- Must have skill of craft, reading technical drawings, math skills, critical reading, accurately read rulers and tape measurers, accurately following written procedures.
- Be able service various types of pumps by using a dial meter indicator for alignment.
Must have basic knowledge of electrical and gas. Be able to use multimeters, wiring of 110V up to 480V motors and components. Able to run and service gas trains, regulators, blocking valves, pilots, burners and limit switches. Solid Industrial Electrical & Mechanical Skill Sets Preferred with PLC Experience Highly Recommended...
- Skill of craft, critical reading, knowledge and interpretation of meters and troubleshooting skills. Be able to accurately follow written procedures.

Salary: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour (Negotiable Depending on Experience)
NOTE: Also Needing a 2nd Shift General Maintenance for Powder Coat/Facilities Maintenance Starts @ $17.00/Hr.
