SUMMARY
The Molecular Diagnostic Specialist will be responsible for the Sales of Integrity Laboratories products within a defined territory. The Molecular Diagnostic Specialist will be responsible for calling on a variety of clinical professionals including but not limited to primary care, internists, women’s health, pediatrics, urology, and infectious disease. The Molecular Diagnostic Specialist will be responsible for driving new business through meeting and exceeding sales targets established by the leadership team.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a minimum of two years outside sales experience.
Experience in a technical sales or business development role.
Preference for previous sales experience in medical device, biotechnology, or specialty pharmacy.
Must have reliable transportation and valid driver license.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree Required.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS OR ABILITIES
- Ability to convey complex diagnostic data along with clinical and technical healthcare acumen.
- Well organized with ability to successfully manage a large geographic territory.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Technical ability to teach others scientific data pertaining to antimicrobial solutions.
- Team player with positive attitude.
Language Skills
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret such documents as pertaining to the performance and analysis of genomic data.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients.
JOB SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
- Meet or exceed sales quota.
- Effective targeting
- Travel independently throughout defined territory to drive molecular diagnostic sales.
- Develop relationships with local Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
- Provide regular progress updates to leadership across all product lines.
- Focus sales effort at specialized markets and designated by sales management.
- Identify territory trends, competitive threats and new testing opportunities.
- Attend industry trade shows as requested by management.
- Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
- Follow all Integrity Laboratories health and safety policies and procedures.
