Gumbys Pizza is looking for an on-the-ground social media marketing assistant. We are an out-of-the-box restaurant looking for a creative and outgoing soul to help us curate, grow, and improve our social media presence. We are seeking someone who can create original video, photography & multimedia to drive brand engagement on our different social media channels. We are looking for someone who is an avid user of Instagram, TikTok & Facebook. The more creative and connected to trends, pop culture, and the local San Marcos community the better. The ideal candidate should have some experience with both photo & video content creation. This job will require some hours physically in the store shooting content, capturing content at local events & some remote hours spent on social media. This will be a part-time position and the hours can be flexible and partially remote.
Responsibilities
Create content for social media platforms
Multimedia content creation and editing with the ability to capture and edit videos and photos into social-media content for all platforms.
Conceptualize and create IG Stories, Reels, TikToks, and behind-the-scenes footage, including product launches and campaigns, events, and influencer activations
Develop a monthly social media calendar to meet monthly advertising and social media goals.
Keep content fresh and relevant by applying weekly and monthly reporting insights, researching current trends in social media, and applying those principles and strategies to increase engagement and community
Short-form video editing editing or creating video content to made-for-social formats
Shoot and edit photography for social media
Requirements
Experience creating content for digital platforms Instagram (Instagram Reels, Stories, and IGTV), TikTok, Facebook, and Twitter. This can be exclusive to your personal social media.
Some photography and videography experience.
Experience with any of the following: Adobe CS Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere, or Final Cut Pro.
Attending and capturing content at marketing events.
Great attitude and the ability to stay organized while working independently.
