Parts Counterperson

Job Summary:

As a Parts Counterperson at New Smyrna Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, you will play a crucial role in ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction while contributing to the profitability of our dealership. This full-time, individual contributor position requires strong customer service skills, knowledge of auto parts and inventory management, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Benefits:

This is a full-time, salaried position with a competitive annual salary of $70,000. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.

Responsibilities:

- Greet and assist customers with their inquiries and purchases at the parts counter
- Utilize electronic catalogs and parts manuals to accurately identify and locate the correct parts for customers
- Provide price quotes and process orders for parts
- Manage inventory levels and ensure the timely ordering of needed parts
- Keep parts department organized and maintain a clean and professional appearance
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of all parts transactions and inventory
- Communicate with other departments within the dealership to ensure prompt and efficient service for customers
- Provide excellent customer service by resolving any issues or concerns with timely and effective solutions

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in the automotive industry, specifically in parts and inventory management
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong computer proficiency and experience with electronic parts catalogs and inventory management systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to accurately locate and identify parts
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
