Kenny Kent Chevrolet - Seeking Quick Lube Tech
 
We are looking for a Quick Lube Technician to join our growing team! The right candidate will perform routine oil change and lubrication services as assigned.
 

Schedule:                            Monday through Friday                         8:00 am - 5:00 pm                                                                                                                                                                                                           Saturday                                                8:00 am - 1:00 pm    every other weekend.

Responsibilities
  • Perform work, including oil changes, filter changes, lubrication as outlined on service ticket with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and manufacture standards.
  • Inspect and report any needed maintenance or replacements including air filters.
  • Check fluid levels, fill if necessary.
  • Perform Multi Point Vehicle Inspection
  • Fill out a follow up sticker and adhere it to the windshield.
  • Maintain a clean work area.
  • Document work performed.
  • Quality check work performed.
  • Attend training classes
  • Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins
  • Ensure that customers’ vehicles are kept clean
  • Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of waste.
  • Work and communicate effectively with co-workers and management and be a Team Player.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of knowledge, skill and/or ability required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Deep understanding of automobiles and speedy diagnostic abilities
  • Effective analytical and communication skills and eagerness to improve
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
  • Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • ASE Certification/Technical degree (preferred)
  • One year in a service department
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
