Onsite Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - (PMHNP/FNP/AGNP/PA-C)

Behavioral Health Solutions (BHS) is seeking Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs, FNPs, AGNPs) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) licensed in Utah to work direct care within our contracted Skilled Nursing Facilities.

As a provider with BHS, you will have the freedom to create your own schedule, hours, and size of caseload!

Service areas incorporate: St. George

Responsibilities:

• Provide face to face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
• Assess patient’s mental status based on symptoms.
• Appropriately diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.
• Apply appropriate medical decision-making skills for mental health issues including psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments.
• Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.
  
  

Job Types: Part-time, 1-2 days a week, with room to grow to full time.
W2 Billable Hour or 1099 Independent Contractor

Requirements

• Licensed in Utah by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry.
• Licensed by the Utah Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances.
• Possession of an X-Wavier for Suboxone treatment (Optional).
• Must possess up to date vaccinations or provide adequate exemption.
• 1-year minimum experience within psych setting.
• 1 year of Geri Psych Experience

Skills:

• Basic computer knowledge.
• Experience with EMR/EHR Systems (Athena I, a plus).
• Excellent written communication.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Flexible and able to work under stressful situations.
• Bilingual is a plus!

Pay:

• Range $54 to $77 per billable hour.
• W2 and Independent Contractor options available.
• Compensation determined based on pay model preferred, experience and licensure.
