Your Mission
DirtMate is an equipment-based system that allows customers to track productivity and efficiency across a variety of worksite applications. As our hands-on DirtMate field expert, you'll be working closely with our customers and Product teams to ensure customers can fully install, understand, and receive value from DirtMate for our growing cohort of customers. This requires hands-on installations and training of new and existing hardware to facilitate seamless adoption for our customers. 

You will be directly responsible for helping customers apply Propeller products in a way that achieves their desired outcomes for our DirtMate customers, You will work closely with customers to deliver actionable feedback to our development teams. This role will be based out of our Denver office, with customer-related travel, both locally and interstate. This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time for customer site visits
  • Supporting customers both over the phone and on-site at rollouts for their new DirtMate sites, conducting hands-on installs, customer onboarding, training, and ongoing support. 
  • Ensuring our customers achieve ROI from their purchase by demonstrating the value of the DirtMate system for their use cases.
  • Coordinating with the Product & Engineering teams on any DirtMate issues that your customers are experiencing.
  • Collaborating with our Product & Engineering teams to make sure customers’ needs and wants are communicated internally in the form of new feature requests and identifying bugs or edge cases.
  • Support the fulfillment and stocking of components and tools as required for site installation alongside our commercial hardware team.
  • Provide written input to streamline the installation and support processes of DirtMate and Networking equipment.
  • Keeping your industry and technical knowledge current so that you can best support your customers and any future product launches.


Your Skills
  • You must have a current driver's license 
  • At least two years of experience working in an earthwork environment as machine control technician, supervisor, or project engineer or relevant professional experience
  • Strong knowledge of the mechanics of earthmoving in the civil, aggregate, mining or waste management industries and the day-to-day running of those sites.  
  • Proven experience supporting customers in person and over video, phone, email, and/or chat
  • Strong technical skills and the ability to pick up new technology fast and drive your own learning.
  • The ability to explain complex concepts in simple terminology and manage customer expectations & issues when delivering cutting-edge new technology to users with varying levels of technical expertise in all areas of an earthwork operation or project.
  • Great interpersonal skills: you can gel with our customers, collaborate with your team members, and thrive in a rapidly changing environment and evolving role
Bonus points for personal experience with, or working knowledge of:
  • Prior experience with machine control systems and installations.
  • Prior knowledge of UAVs and visualization platforms.
  • Prior experience with GPS rovers.
  • Knowledge of the aggregate, mining, or landfill industries is a plus (although not required).
  • MSHA or HAZWOPPER certification is ideal, but not required.

The estimated salary range offered for this role is $85,000.00 - $110,000.00. This range is tied to the market for this job in Colorado. Any salary offer extended will be based on skills, knowledge and experience.
