NAPA Parts Professional

Purpose:

Performs a variety of in-store and outside customer service, marketing, promoting, advertising, and stocking duties related to the receiving, sale, and delivery of NAPA parts and accessories and equipment.

Expect to learn the NAPA brand, the market, and who our customers are. Eagerness to learn and grow with the company is highly appreciated. Knowing your customers and products has such a big impact to daily business. Don't be afraid to work with your team and ask questions. Willingness to take initiative is a top tier trait.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Welcome retail customers into our store to engage to produce a positive consumer experience
• Provide auto parts answers and solutions for our retail and wholesale consumers
• Assists with retail customer parts delivery as needed
• Assist in maintaining retail sales floor and the maintenance of retail displays
• Participates in all job-related training and development
• Performs routine housekeeping and other location tasks
• Perform cycle counting duties to ensure that all materials are properly verified to be reflective of reported inventory

Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:

• Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry preferred
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Technical or trade school courses degree, preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Basic data entry/computer skills
• Passion for automotive industry
• Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems is a plus
• ASE certification, preferred

Working Conditions & Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Must have a valid drivers license
• Must be able to lift at least 75-pounds
• Travel as needed
