Job Description
1. Hospice Aide - Darke
This is a full-time position in Darke County and surrounding areas. The typical hours are 8:00am-4:30pm, with a weekend and holiday rotation.
2. Hospice Aide - Mercer
This is a full-time position in Mercer County and surrounding areas. The typical hours are 8:00am-4:30pm with a weekend and holiday rotation.
3. Hospice Aide - Float
This is a full-time position that covers all service areas as needed. The typical hours are 8:00am-4:30pm with a weekend and holiday rotation.
Education and Experience:
1. High school diploma preferred.
2. Completion of 75 hours of state approved aide training consisting of classroom and supervised practical training.
3. Does not have a lapse of 24 months of non-compensated aide work.
4. Successful completion of competency evaluation within first 4 weeks of employment.
5. Successfully pass a mandatory written Hospice Aide test within first 6 weeks of employment.
6. Current registration on the Indiana Aide Registry.
7. Minimum of one year of experience providing personal care in a healthcare setting.
8. Hospice experience preferred
