WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE

The Senior Business Systems Analyst plays a pivotal role contributing strategically to the organization's growth and efficiency. Through collaboration, continuous improvement, and leadership, this role is instrumental in aligning technology solutions with departmental and business goals and promoting a culture of innovation and proficiency within the Warehouse dept.

  • Serves as a liaison between business process owners and IT in various units and regions.
  • Leads optimization of business processes and systems.
  • Evaluates and proposes/implements technical solutions for business requirements.
  • Configures and tests systems for feature execution, integration, and reporting.
  • Develop and modify system solutions to meet end user requirements.
  • Manages enhancements and small to medium-sized projects.
  • Designing, coding, and testing new software applications.
  • Documenting and analyzing systems.
  • Data governance.
  • Performance tracking and analyzing of business processes.
  • Provides technical support, troubleshooting and/or routing issues appropriately.
  • Provides mentorship/support to Business System Analyst and other members of team.
  • Enables super-users through training and knowledge transfer for IT system utilization in process automation and optimization.
  • Trains staff and others as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or 6+ years’ experience in related field.
  • 6+ years’ experience with analysis, design, configuration, and implementation of Red Prairie or similar Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • 6+ years’ experience with analysis, design, configuration, and implementation of JDA or similar Workforce Management Systems (LMS).
  • Capacity to identify trends, patterns, and insights from data.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective skills in managing and engaging with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and nationalities.

  • Valid California Driver License.
  • Occasional travel as needed.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Robust interpersonal relations, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrates sound judgment, initiative, flexibility, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficient in developing and maintaining business and technical documentation.
  • Adaptable to new technologies and rapidly changing environments.
  • Capable of mapping, troubleshooting, and optimizing interfaces with multiple systems.
  • Experienced in working in complex, business environments.
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing/Good Documentation Practices (GxP) processes.
  • Proven expertise in using the MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to design and/or customize ad-hoc reporting and systems configuration.
  • Ability to create graphical images, process flow charts, and diagrams for documentation.
  • Understanding of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Proactive attitude and openness to learning and expanding knowledge in new technical or functional areas.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with relevant software/tools such as Red Prairie/JDA/Blue Yonder, JDE, SAP BI, Visio.
  • Experience in change management practices to help facilitate the adoption of new processes and systems within the organization.
  • Proficiency in utilizing business analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Experience in the implementation and optimization of Enterprise systems.
  • 6+ years’ experience in Supply Chain.
  • Experience in inventory management, inventory control, or related field.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Occasional standing, walking, sitting, handling products, climbing.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in both hot and cold environments.
