Job Summary
AvantGarde Dental is looking to hire an experienced, part-time, dental receptionist with excellent organizational and administrative skills to join our team! Dental receptionists are expected to be compassionate and discrete with superb time management and record-keeping skills. To ensure success, dental receptionists should be confident and professional administrators with fantastic communication and interpersonal skills that will contribute to the efficient day-to-day administration of the healthcare facility. Top candidates will work comfortably under pressure while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment and can effectively react to patient emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Answering phones and scheduling appointments
• Checking patient's in to and out of their appointments
• Collecting patient payments and working with insurance companies
• Collaborate with physicians, patients, families, and healthcare staff
• Educate patients on their healthcare options
• Create goals and monitor progress toward goals

Qualifications

• Previous healthcare or receptionist experience is preferred
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects or tasks and prioritize appropriately
• Ability to work in fast-paced situations and make sound decisions quickly
• Excellent interpersonal skills and high level of compassion
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
