Maintenance Supervisor

We have an opportunity for a motivated Maintenance Supervisor to join the leadership team at our plant in Chatsworth, Illinois. This will be a hands-on role, working on manufacturing equipment and supervising two technicians. We are looking for a leader to:
• Complete required maintenance, providing direction to the two maintenance technicians.
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedule and associated projects.
• Manage parts store at manufacturing facility using Infor EAM, including creating purchase requisitions and receiving parts into inventory.
• Read and interpret work orders to perform required maintenance and service, according to our equipment manuals or manufacturer’s recommendations.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required with an AA degree in mechatronics, mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance is preferred.
• A minimum of two years of hands-on industrial or production maintenance experience.
• Experience in extrusion, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills are preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds for less than 1/3 of the day and 50 pounds for 1/3 of the day, use hands and reach with hands/arms, stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl for up to 2/3 of the workday; and good distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more), peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate colors.
