Urgent Care Veterinarian

Looking for a rewarding, nurturing, and stimulating environment? PAW Health Network provides a 24/7 Animal Care Center that has a variety of services to offer the community. These services include Walk-Ins, Routine Care, Urgent Care, Massage Therapy, Canine Blood Donation Program, and our Service Dog Registry Program. We are heavily involved with various local organizations that we partner with. As PAW furthers its mission of caring for the community, our need for veterinarians has grown. We are determined to form an atmosphere of collaboration and equality to ensure that our patients are receiving the best care.

All roles are responsible for providing quality patient care, ensuring that all patients are treated fairly and safely, recognizing any potential issues with the process, training, and procedure, and sustaining the effectiveness of the process.

This position requires a license in accordance with Wisconsin State Statue Chapter VE 3 and must comply with the standards outlined in Wisconsin State Statute Chapter VE 7 and Chapter VE 10. PAW offers a competitive salary and benefits package.2

Compensation:

$125,000 +

Responsibilities:
  • Provide quality patient care and ensure all patients are treated fairly and safely
  • Use advanced practice management software, electronic medical records, Microsoft Office products, and Microsoft Teams
  • Actively solicit, process, and integrate input from other team members and administrators
  • Provide constructive feedback
  • Identify and handle conflicts or disagreements through open and honest dialogue
  • Possess and maintain a valid license to practice veterinary medicine as issued by the State of Wisconsin
  • Follow the standards outlined in Wisconsin State Statutes Chapter VE 7 and Chapter VE 10
Qualifications:
