Key Responsibilities:

  • Source, screen, and recruit qualified candidates for various healthcare positions including nurses, caregivers, allied health professionals, and administrative staff.
  • Coordinate with the Medical Staffing Manager to maintain strong relationships with healthcare facilities, hospitals, clinics, and other clients to understand their staffing needs.
  • Conduct interviews, reference checks, and facilitate the hiring and onboarding process to ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment experience.
  • Collaborate with the hiring manager and talent Acquisition Manager to develop job descriptions, identify key requirements, and tailor recruitment strategies to meet specific staffing needs.
  • Utilize various recruitment tools and platforms, including job boards, social media, networking events, and professional organizations, to attract top talent.
  • Manage candidate pipelines, track recruitment metrics, and provide regular updates to management on recruitment activities and progress.
  • Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance with healthcare staffing regulations and standards.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Previous experience in healthcare recruitment, medical staffing, or talent acquisition preferred.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare industry trends, regulations, and staffing challenges.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work effectively under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, human resources information system (HRIS) and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Certification in recruitment or healthcare management (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP, CPRP) a plus.
