Description:

The Practice Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall business operations of the surgery practice and any additional locations where provider(s) offer services. This position is pivotal in supporting the practice's vision, enhancing the patient experience, optimizing clinical workflow, and ensuring financial growth and stability. The Practice Manager is expected to possess strong data analytics skills, using data to assess and improve business performance and regularly producing reports to track growth and profitability. Also, they would play a critical role in maintaining the practice's reputation for excellence in surgical care and patient satisfaction. This individual must possess a strong commitment to the practice's mission and values while ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the surgical office.

● Establish and implement effective workplace procedures.

● Ensure policies and best practices align with industry standards and government regulations.

● Maintain organized patient records using electronic health record systems.

● Supervise daily practice operations, including billing, debt collections, security, and occupational health and safety.

● Monitor inventory for medications and medical equipment and coordinate resupply as needed.

● Interact with patients to address their complaints and concerns.

● Coordinate and lead regular staff meetings and conduct performance reviews.

● Collaborate with Physician(s) to develop business/marketing strategies and enhance patient services.

● Oversee administrative staff, including but not limiting to Front Desk receptionists, Patient and Surgical Coordinators, and office contractors.

● Hire and provide training for specific needs as they arise.

● Supervise staff schedules and performance, setting a tone of accountability and professionalism in the office.

● Conduct regular performance reviews for all staff members.

● Ensure a clean and orderly office environment, oversee equipment selection, and ensure proper functioning of all equipment.

● Pay proactive attention to matters that impact the patient experience, including staffing schedules and office flow during clinic hours.

● Maintain brochures of services available for patients.

● Address and resolve conflicts and concerns among staff members, fostering a pleasant patient experience.

Skills & Qualifications:

MUST HAVE:

- 3+ years of Practice Managerial experience within Healthcare Industry (surgery center, dental office, chiropractic office, etc.)

- EMR experience

- High School Diploma

Experience Level:

Intermediate Level
