LHH is partnering with a leading manufacturing company to fill its Warranty Claims Specialist in the Ottawa, KS area. The key purpose of this position is to oversee and process the customer warranty claims to its suppliers to maximize the supplier's acceptance of the same claims. Our ideal candidate would have previous Warranty, Claims, or Parts Manufacturing experience.
This position is a 6-month temporary position with the potential to become a long-term opportunity that provides flexibility for hybrid or remote work.

LHH is partnering with a leading manufacturing company to fill its Warranty Claims Specialist in the Ottawa, KS area. The key purpose of this position is to oversee and process the customer warranty claims to its suppliers to maximize the supplier's acceptance of the same claims. Our ideal candidate would have previous Warranty, Claims, or Parts Manufacturing experience.

Job Responsibilities:
- Review supplier recovery behavior, trends, and delinquencies and set up engagement strategies, reviews/audits, and negotiations across the supplier commodity mix and provide input in supplier contractual processes.
- Negotiation with suppliers for both conditions with/without a written contract with suppliers.
- Work closely with sourcing/SD organizations for supplier quality issues.
- Collaborate with global sourcing for warranty agreement improvement (coverage and warranty level)
- Regular warranty claim follow-up.
- Collaborate with product support to improve the claim handling.
- Better/clearer information for the claim of clear responsibility internal vs external
- Input to PLC for product improvement.
- Administration work in supplier claim system and return of non-conformity components to supplier if needed.
Job Qualifications:
- Previous experience with Warranty, Purchasing, Supplier Quality, Quality, or related field
- Previous experience working with suppliers, supply chain management, or quality
- Previous experience within the manufacturing industry
- ERP and Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge
