Company DescriptionHealthCare Support is actively seeking a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant to fill an opening with a one of the largest medical practices in Cummings, GA.
Daily Responsibilities for the Certified or Registered Medical Assistant:
- We are looking for a strong Medical Assistant to work in our Ambulatory Surgery Center.
- You will need to have experience with back office duties such as documenting patient medical history, giving injections, EKGs, taking vitals, etc.
- Shift: Monday – Friday | 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. (with break)
- Must have a HS Diploma or GED
- Must be a certified or registered Medical Assistant through an approved credentialing agency
- Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant experience
- A valid State of Georgia Driver's License and reliable transportation is required
- Proficiency using EMR, EHR, as well as Microsoft Office Applications
- Excellent organizational, time management and follow through skills are required
Preferred Qualifications for the Certified or Registered Medical Assistant:
- Associate degree
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
