Certified or Registered Medical Assistant

HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant to fill an opening with a one of the largest medical practices in Cummings, GA.

Daily Responsibilities for the Certified or Registered Medical Assistant:
  • We are looking for a strong Medical Assistant to work in our Ambulatory Surgery Center.
  • You will need to have experience with back office duties such as documenting patient medical history, giving injections, EKGs, taking vitals, etc.
  • Shift: Monday – Friday | 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. (with break)
Required Qualifications for the Certified or Registered Medical Assistant:
  • Must have a HS Diploma or GED
  • Must be a certified or registered Medical Assistant through an approved credentialing agency
  • Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant experience
  • A valid State of Georgia Driver's License and reliable transportation is required
  • Proficiency using EMR, EHR, as well as Microsoft Office Applications
  • Excellent organizational, time management and follow through skills are required

Preferred Qualifications for the Certified or Registered Medical Assistant:
  • Associate degree
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
