The Snack Bar Lead Cook oversees the snack bar kitchen operations including, cooking, staff training, cleanliness, assisting in ordering and maintaining supplies and kitchen equipment, and reporting all guest inquires to the Assistant Snack Bar Manager or General Store Manager.
Reports to: Snack Bar Assistant Manager and General Store Manager
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for daily operations, including opening and or closing procedures.
Ensures the proper preparation and service of food to the satisfaction of the customer.
Responsible for the establishment’s cleanliness and sanitation.
Responsible for assisting in tracking, and ordering snack bar inventory
Supports and follows all Cove Communities policy at all times.
All other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
Must have experience in food and beverage leadership
Must have Management Serve Safe certificate or willingness to obtain one prior to working in the kitchen. Cove will pay for the certificate for future employees.
Must have prior cooking experience.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Must be able to handle high temperatures in a kitchen
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
Ability to function well in a fast pace, sometime high stress environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to adapt to schedule changes, Night, Weekend and Holiday work is REQUIRED
Must be atleast 17 years of age to operate the use of knifes
Compensation & Benefits
$18-$20 DOE
