Purpose of the Job

P1 Finance is a leading national premium finance company. We are looking to expand our Loan Activation Team with the addition of an experienced Loan Activation and Processing Specialist. You will be responsible for reviewing loan documents for accuracy, activating the approved loans, confirming funding amount totals and disbursing funds.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Verify premiums, terms and conditions on each Premium Finance Agreement (PFA) for accuracy.
  • Review and confirm the loan documents match the system information.
  • Provide documentation to the bank for approval of funding.
  • Prepare daily reports to reconcile disbursed funds.
  • Respond to email inquiries, as necessary.
  • Participate in and contribute to developing and improving our loan processing procedures and protocols.
  • All other compliance-related assignments as may be required by the financial institution to comply with agency, internal and/or regulatory protocols.

Education and Background

  • High school diploma.
  • 2+ years experience with an emphasis in loan processing preferred, but not required, as additional training will be provided.
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Demonstrates aptitude for learning and a clear ability to provide prompt, high-level, responsive service.
  • Displays a positive attitude, good communication skills, strong planning and execution and disciplined work ethic.
