CNC Mill Machinist/Programmer - Monroe, MI

$30 Per Hour - 2nd/PM Shift

Position Summary:

The Machinist is responsible for Setting Up, Operating and Programming DynaPath and Haas CNC Mills.

Mastercam Proficiency is a Big Plus.

Responsibilities / Duties:

• Must have personal Hand Tools.

• Must have a general knowledge of machining practices and machinery.

• Ability to work with Monroe management team to resolve issues

• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Working Relationships:

• The Machinist will work directly with the Plant Manager and Shop Personnel.

Qualifications and Education:

• High School Diploma required

• Journeyman Certification preferred

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in machine work

• Knowledge of tooling and machining processes

• Ability to read mechanical engineering drawings

• Possess verbal and written communications skills

• Must be focused on doing the job right

• Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment can range from normal shop environments to industrial environments that are moderate to noisy.

  Schedule and Hours:
  Monday through Thursday from 4 PM to 3 AM
  11 Hour Shift with a Paid 1/2 Hour Lunch Break
  Friday: 4 PM - 10 PM (6-Hour Shift) or 4 PM - 3 AM (11-Hour Shift)
  No Saturdays and Sundays Expected
