Common Area Attendant

Schedule: times available between 3pm and 7am

Compensation $16.50-$20 depending on the shift schedule

The Common Area Attendant serves as in a customer service and property aesthetics and standards monitoring role. Basic responsibilities will be the role of Common Area Attendant and aesthetic/curb appeal and standards monitor at the property, and at times, a point of contact for residents and prospects. This position is also intended to satisfy some resident requests, questions, and needs, as may be appropriate within their skill set, and serve as a liaison on their behalf to the Management office.

Ability to apply good common sense when assisting residents and their guests.

· Must have the availability to work a flexible schedule any day of the week.

· Ability to resolve minor problems while maintaining a friendly and professional manner.

· Ability to communicate effectively.

· Must be team oriented.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is continually required to:

· Must be able to remain in a stationary position for a period of time, as may be required by the position.

· Must be able to walk around and monitor the property’s external and internal common spaces throughout the work shift.

· Must maintain a valid driver’s license and current proof of insurance as some responsibilities of the job function may result on use of property owned vehicle.

· Must be able to move/traverse inside the office to access office machinery, cabinets, etc.

· Occasionally operates/uses a computer and other office productivity machinery such as keyboard, printer/scanner, etc.

· Occasionally ascend/descend stairs or step ladder and/or otherwise position self to access documents in filing cabinets, etc.

· Must be able to communicate accurate information and ideas so others will understand.

· Ability to observe/identify details at close, long, or peripheral range.

· Ability to move, push, pull a minimum of 50 lbs., as needed.

· Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments including hot/cold temperatures.
