Accountant 2

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our amazing team as an Accountant. The ideal candidate will assist with various accounting tasks to ensure the seamless operation of our financial processes.

• Salary will vary depending on knowledge, skills, and experience.

Responsibilities:

• Reconcile balance sheet general ledger (GL) accounts.
• Assist with payroll processing and related tasks
• Process vendor bills, payments, and expense reports accurately and promptly.
• Support the accounting team in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Maintain and keep track of credit card and bank transactions for bank and credit card reconciliation purposes.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
• Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve any accounting discrepancies or issues.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience working in an accounting role or similar position.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel and Netsuite.
• Experience with bank-to-accounting and credit card-to-accounting integration and/or data uploads.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
