Physical Therapist-Full Time

Parker Jewish Institute is seeking compassionate and motivated Physical Therapists to join the team in our skilled nursing home. We want to speak with naturally caring, empathetic PTs who are focused on providing the best quality of life possible for every patient in their care, with patience, courteousness and tactful interactions with residents, staff, family members and visitors.

This position will be on the afternoon shift, with a primary schedule of 12pm-8:15pm

Physical Therapists at Parker Jewish Institute are responsible for treatment and delivery of Physical Therapy services to patients in the nursing home. A key member of Parker's care team, this position requires the full understanding and the active participation in fulfilling the mission of Parker Jewish Institute to deliver exceptional care and to enhance the quality of life of our patients. We put an emphasis on patient safety and staff work satisfaction. We have very high standards of care for patients and residents. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate from Physical Therapy curriculum approved by the American Physical Therapy Association of the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association
  • Licensed as a PT in the state of New York
  • Minimum of 1-year experience as a staff Physical Therapist, or 3 years of prior combined clinical experience
  • Prior experience in a nursing home, rehabilitation or hospital setting preferred
  • Tech savvy, with proficiency in SigmaCare or another electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Fully Vaccinated against COVID-19
