TLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team as the Director of our Outpatient Speech-Language department. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent administrative skills, effective communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of speech-language therapy principles. Previous supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities for the Speech-Language Pathology Director Include:

  • Provide leadership and supervision to a team of speech-language pathologists, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services in accordance with professional standards and organizational policies
  • Oversee programmatic evaluation and data analysis, using outcomes data to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain current reporting, documentation, scheduling, and billing processes in compliance with professional standards, state regulations, and organizational requirements
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address clients' communication goals and objectives
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide direct speech-language therapy services to clients as needed
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment, promoting professional growth and development among team members

Qualifications for the Speech-Language Pathology Director:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure as a speech-language pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in speech-language pathology, with previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Excellent supervisory and administrative skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively
  • Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written, with active listening skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of speech-language therapy principles, practices, methods, and techniques
  • Proficiency in program evaluation, data analysis, reporting, documentation, scheduling, and billing processes

As a condition of employment, all new hires are required to have received at least the first dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or the single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. New hires must receive any additional vaccine doses in the appropriate timeframes to be considered fully vaccinated and submit weekly test results until they are fully vaccinated. Requests for religious or medical exemptions will be reviewed and evaluated on a case-by-case basis.



Benefits:

Salary range for this position is $90k - $110k annually, DOE along with a competitive benefits package that includes benefits such as health, dental, retirement, continuing education and a healthy work/life balance.
